Chapter 13:
Being in doubt over something, can be a hard on oneself. Not knowing how to handle a situation so you, with your own strength begin to treat it in a way you think is best; but, God knows what’s best. The people in the time of Jesus, were always in such doubt with the Messiah. It was all of that political influence from the pharisees. How they would just shout Blasphemy at Jesus. He knew few would follow him and many will accuse him. The ones who listened to all the parables and didn’t ask questions about it, were the people whose hearts became calloused. They were doubtful of the teachings from the Messiah. letting their hearts get filled with the hateful ideas and words they had for Jesus. It’s terrible that in some cases, you don’t choose how your life is going to be if not, you let the influence of others or opinions determine what path you take. “ Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only few find it.” Matthew 7:13-14. If only God would light up or give us a sign every time we feel doubtful over something, to choose the best solution. Would we take things more serious. But because we don’t know we lack faith and let things slide. Don’t let the whispers of the enemy dig into your heart if not, vanish them for they are death to your soul.
