Chapter 11:
Trusting in God takes time. Nobody fully trusts in him until he puts you in circumstances where that is all you have left to lean on. Jesus tells us that all who are weary and carry heavy burdens need to come to the feet of Christ. He is the only one who can lift that heavy sack we carry. His cousin John the baptist was loved my few and despised by many. He was not your typical average man. He lived in the woods and would eat locust and wild honey. People would think he was crazy but in fact was more wise than any man at that time. He was preparing the way for the messiah. Isaiah 40:3. Do you have someone in your life that you trust? or did someone hurt you so badly that your trust in people is no longer something that you will try again?. Everyone is a sinner and nobody is perfect. Man seems to disappoint Man, But God stays God; who is true in all. We are commanded to put our faith and trust in him. “ And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28. Who else to intrust our lives with? rather than the creator himself. You may feel like you don’t matter but in the eyes of the King, you are more precious than jewels. Learn to give every part of your life to God and trust that he knows what’s best for you.
