Chapter 10:

That would have been so cool to be told personally that we are able to, cast out demons, cure the every disease and sickness. And that is exactly what Jesus told the disciples. He also wanted to remind them to not be afraid of the places they were going to; or if they were to get persecuted to no t worry and wait on Gods command. “ I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” Luke 10:19. Have you ever felt weak in a situation? like not even your mental strength can keep up with what is going on. I have had many occasions where i have felt that the only strength that can save me was from God. Addictions are hard to overcome, and is not easy when you try by yourself. The enemy will always taunt you to fall back; and he doesn’t even make it that hard for you to do so. But reading the word of God and just hearing about him, slowly starts to change who you are and how you think. Your mind is more focused on the Godly things than the worldly things. Ashamed? used to be but God shows you that everyone makes mistakes in life. Someone people change with a snap of the finger and some that their sweet years to even start to change. But God loves. He does not judge you. When he picked those 12 disciples and sent them off to preach the word, cast out demons and heal the sick. He knew their strengths and weaknesses but, he saw more than what meets the eye. Sinners who wanted to grow in light to grow out of darkness. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:5. Be the light that absorbs darkness for you are called onto serving who truly matters in this world. God.
